Engine flush?

Was up getting new oil and filters for the van today (to be done during the week, I'm far too lazt to do the shopping trip and the work the same day ) and saw stuff that runs through te old oil for a few mins before you change it. Supposedlt flushes the system. Done a bit of a google and came across a couple of forums talking about it, some people say they use it and others say no, it'll have gunk going round the engine. Doesnt seem to be solid evidence either way.

What are peoples opinions on here?

Used it on a car that was lying up for a few years, but i think as long as your oil changes are frequent then there is not much need for it, just a gimmik, nothing more.

edit, just looked at the link, that was the exact same stuff i used.
