Can't go wrong with a spot of the old AC/DC... Wish they'd tour again...

Well I was hoping/thinking the Pumpkins would be here, but still, nothing ever wrong with some AC/DC. Do prefer BiB though over this, still a good rocking album though, I'll never begrudge it.

What the stones "rocked" slane are you having a laugh?

they were awful, i know that most of their live gigs are awful but.....aaah :confused:

the only way they could have rocked Slane would be sitting on rocking chairs

Second nomination, second result! OH YAAAAAAAAAAAA! :D
I think this is by far AC/DCs best album. BiB is alright, but nothing special. They will never be as good as when they had Bon Scott. Brian Johnsons vocals grate with me a little bit. Bons voice is simply awesome, as is Highway to Hell. 'Nuff said!

This album was a watershed in Ac/DC's history and if Bon was alive I think that they may be on a much different direction to what they are today. I love the grittier earlier albums e.g. Let their be rock, Powerage, but this was polished, commercial and fantastic. Listen to the funky bass line in the chorus of Love Hungry Man for instance, Could Bon have been pushing the band to broaden their appeal? Maybe not everyones' favourite track but they have not recorded anything as daring as that since.

For me its always the case that I prefer the live version of an AC/DC song rather than the one on the album. I know that usually a live album is just another way for record companies to milk it - but to be fair Ac/DC's live albums were always an improvement on the album originals.

Personally I can't decide whether this is my favourite AC/DC album or my second favourite. But it's definitely Bon's best. As said earlier, it was more polished and commercialised than previous albums with tracks such as the title track, Touch Too Much, Girls Got Rhythm, Shot Down In Flames being my favourites.

**runs off to CD cabinet to find disc for a day of good old rock tomorrow**

    1. "Highway to Hell" – 3:32
    2. "Girls Got Rhythm" – 3:27
    3. "Walk All Over You" – 5:13
    4. "Touch Too Much" – 4:30
    5. "Beating Around the Bush" – 4:00
    6. "Shot Down in Flames" – 3:26
    7. "Get It Hot" – 2:38
    8. "If You Want Blood (You've Got It)" – 4:40
    9. "Love Hungry Man" – 4:20
    10. "Night Prowler" – 6:27

    "Shazbot, nanu nanu"
