Key for alloy wheels

My 00 Focus has alloys and came with a key to unlock alloys. Unfortunately this has gone walkabout! Do I have to go to Ford for a new one? I've been told they are not interchangeable.

Go to Ford and ask them to remove the lockable nuts and get some stantard ones. I bet the world does not want to steal your wheels.

they are removable at good tyre centres, there was a thread about this recently. you can buy replacements in car accessory shops

Thanks for that lads. I don't know who'd want to steal my wheels either! Hubby says it's a throwback to the time when not all cars came with alloys-pretty much standard now.
