Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi

trawled the internet the other night but was not able to find any conclusive setups. Decided to have a LAN Halo 3 Session other night. x3 360's x3 Tv's x1 Wireless Router. One Xbox has the 360 wireless adapter. other two are networked through laptops over wireless. individually all could connect to Live using the Router. However we could not system link them locally. Can it be done? we gave up after and hour and went to gather some ethernet cable and used a small switch/hub for the LAN, more hastle but it works. It would have been easier considering the layout to have it wireless, are we doing something wrong or is it just no possible with the 360?

Cheers all any help much appreciated

I think the problem is that you are using a laptop's wireless connection to connect to the wireless router. Is this being done with Windows XP an its Internet Connection Sharing (or bridging mode)?

If so, all I can suggest is 1) make sure Windows Firewall is off just to rule it out and 2) try connecting two of the Xbox 360's to the wireless router directly with ethernet cables to see if that works?
