Anybody got any ideas on what they might have done for a living? Must have had pretty good jobs to have left Harry such a vast amount of gold. Apart from James being a Professional Quidditch player i have no idea.

Never any mention of their jobs but JK said "James inherited plenty of money, so he didn't need a well-paid profession."
