Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DVD Recorder going mad recording BBC1

I have a Sony DVD recorder at home, with an 80 gig HD, TV is with NTL. We have had the recorder over a year, and use it quite a lot.

To be honest my mum uses the recorder more than me, as I dont watch a lot of TV and she uses it to tape those god forsaken 'come dancing' programmes and quality like that :)

Over the last few weeks she has been screaming as she missed a couple of shows, all on BBC. She had set them to tape correctly, but the show does not tape, what I get is 8 gigs of noise with the code 'L3' beside them? Its happened 8 or 9 times now, all in the last couple of weeks..

I rang NTL, and may as well have been talking to the wall as ask their support muppets.

Anyone any ideas at all? Some new anti-taping protection or somthing?
