Wireless router keeps losing connection

I just recently turned on WPA encryption on my router (3Com), and since the laptops that connect to it seem to randomly lose the connection. This wasn't an issue before I turned WPA on. Anyone know how I can start to trouble-shoot the issue?

I just started having the same issue myself, but WPA was always running.

Mine is also a 3Com router, I'm going to upgrade the firmware and see how that goes.

It might be worth changing the wireless channel as well, the only thing that has changed with my scenario, is the number of new wireless networks in the area has increased.
