That's not very constructive talk now is it?

Enough of the negatitivy, I want to commend these guys on their continued efforts to host interesting acts in this once fair-city of ours which has (club-wise) gone to the dogs. How some of us yearn for the days when Galway was one of Ireland's main epicentres for clubbing. Now it's all been overun by discotheques pumping out anodyne chart music, discotheques which are closer in spirit to the sweat-markets of rural Ireland than to that of a major city. No wonder, most of us have to get away to Dublin/London/Berlin/Barcelona for a decent night out.

Fair play to Gar and the lads for daring to be a little different. We're short of venues that are willing to take a risk in post-Celtic Tiger Galway, so whether a kip or not, promoters will take what they can get. Bravo boys!

Stress runs there every Wednesday and sometimes Fridays putting on national and international acts. If anyone feels the same way, pop along to us and give us your support. Big Halloween party is the next one. That one above was nothing to do with us. Acoustic night is usually on on the Wednesdays, don't think the one above was them either. But - there are some of us putting on regular events.
