Cheap/fun weekend in Dublin

Hello myself and the girlfriend are heading up to your fair city for the weekend in about two weeks and we are looking for cheap/free things which ye like to do/ know of!

We are going to the the ghostbus tour and temple bar another night, plus the bus up means we dont have much money at all...

So what are the best things to do in Dublin?
Romantic settings maybe?
Cheap (but good) food??!

Any other recommendations also appreciated!

Ho Sen is really cheap (the wine is good value too) if you like something different, it’s a Vietnamese. Really good.

This place is GREAT if you’re a bit broke, it’s a tapas bar. http://www.menupages.ie/Dublin/Restaurants/Popular/The_Port_House.aspx?spMode=MostReviewed Some of the dishes are under a fiver (they are tiny of course) and they leave the menu with you, so you order and order till you get full! They don’t take bookings though, so it’s a walk in job, probably go early.

You could stop for a nice glass of wine here http://www.dublintourist.com/details/olesya_s_wine_bar.shtml Its pricey, so maybe just a glass each, lovely atmosphere, nice staff, watch the world go by. (expect a slow service, its pretty laid back)

If your feeling adventurous and really broke you could go to one of the Chinese restaurants on Moore st. or Parnell st. They are really cheap, tacky and funny.
