    They seem to be skipping Ballyboden in the first phase. Weird because they said they were trying out FTTH a few years ago in some small estate there.

    It was FTTC they tried and not FTTH

    Thats what they are rolling out too.

    If it is short enough, upto 1000Mbps can go on a telephone wire pair.
