    I'd definetly have to agree with the no smokers opinion. That would be the greatest turn off, and I wouldn't care how good looking, or how great a personality she had, I could just never see myself going out with a smoker.

    Personality is of course a big thing, you gotta be able to talk to the girl, and enjoy her company.

    Looks wise, I like tall girls, oddly enough. I'd love to go out with a girl taller than myself once, it would be cool, but I rarely ever meet anyone who's taller than me, I'm a pretty big guy. I also like Asian girls, of course, so I suppose my perfect girl would be tall and Asian, which would be pretty god damn rare. ;)

    i think most guys are attracted to looks initially, the type of girl will depend on that guys standards.....

    eventually personality will be key though, girls with good personality will always grow on me.

    I find it funny that girls try to emphasise stuff that guys usually don't give a sh*t about e.g. colour of skin (as if we care that irish girls are pale), boob size (big, small, medium, pert, it doesn't matter, enough with the boob jobs :mad:), hair colour (yeah like red hair girls are ugly :rolleyes:)

    Yes I would have to agree with all of the above.
    Someone who has been funny and intelligent but is no longer that way.

    I like very feminine women - not butch ones. So, it all ties in with personality.

    I also like girls to be petite, with a nice smile. And to top it off, very long dark hair :)

    Not too fussed on boobs etc - as long as they exist!

    Hmm, good craic, can hold a conversation, nice eyes, cute smile, and a bit cheeky. Generally seem to go for brunettes too (curly hair optional - but doesn't look right on most blondes I think)

    Not into the size 0 look either - curves in the right places is good :)

    Obviously looks are almost always the first impression, unless you've met through other means (net, phone, writing, whatever) and have seen personality as the first impression. So looks are important and are subjective to everyone's tastes....but looks won't carry any sort of longer relationship, it's always about what's behind the eyes....and of those qualities, I'd have to say intelligence ranks highest in my book, and the old GSOH...
    It's really all about a balance of all those things and probably about how much you're willing to compromise on individual qualities, since usually the all stunningly beautiful, stand-up comedians with masters' in nuclear physics are already taken...
