Ok well generally attractive. I like dark hair on a guy better but it doesn't matter, I don't have a specific type. Hygene is important too! It's scary how many men seem to be afraid of showers and toothbrushes..

Personality wise they have to be smart, funny, and kind. This is really important for me, I hate stingyness in people. I want a guy to be a good person. Begrudgery and bitterness towards people isn't attractive either...

The answer must be money/wealth, for while there are plenty of guys with all the other attributes given in the answers here that are unattached/unmarried, you find that unattached millionaires are virtually non-existent and no matter how much a B****** a guy is, if he has money, he'll always have a girlfriend/wife.

Besides you actually have to meet and talk to a guy to see if he has a good sense of humour etc, while real wealth can be spotted from the other side of the room.

Is the opening question in a conversation "and what do you do for a living ?", an attempt to see if you both share something in common, or an attempt to see how much he earns ? I'd bet in most cases, its the latter.

A big lottery win turns the oldest, ugliest, hairiest, sorriest, most unhygienic guy in town into a prize catch(though few will admit this), for the more money, the more his lack of other attractive features can be overlooked.

Very true ,i became more clothes and style concious when i left ireland as i realised i had gotten sloppy over the years and appearences are everything , although i notice male clothing style have improved a lot in ireland since i have being away , there are still quite a % or irish males who really do need to spruce up thir lives style ,clothes and hygene wise .:).
