Dell laptop?

    Hey guys.

    Am planning to order a dell laptop - price limit 800 euro. My limited computer knowledge has left me stumped at the choices. Basically, I am looking for a laptop for word, the internet, watching dvds and downloading. I was looking at the Dell Inspiron 1501 with 2GB retailing at 719 euro and also at the Inspiron 1520 which is up for grabs at 799 euro. If anyone has tips/advice regarding either model (or have a better option), this laptop virgin would be very grateful...

    A dell vostro would be the better choice. They are priced a lot better than the inspirons for some reason. What size screen would you be looking at? 14", 15.4" or 17"?

    '15.4' or '17' would suit. I thought Vostro didn't have dvd/cd player?
