Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I bought a new Sony Ericsson K800i off a member of boards the other day, have been delighted with the phone and now 3 have thrown a spanner in the work's.

It is an O2 phone, but unlocked. I called 3 customer support last night and tried to explain that i would like to set up the mobile for plane three which is their MobWeb.

... edit: as it isn't a 3 supplied handset, there is no assistance being offered

Can they do this? Are the other networks like this in relation to not buying their own locked phone? Also, is it possible to obtain these settings from another source?

something that isn't clear from those settings is that you have to into authentication under data comm. and set it to PAP only

and you have enter settings in streaming settings and settings for java too. if you have any problem post up and we'll be glad to help :)

Am I missing something about settings? I just put my 3 sim into an unblocked N95 and it worked. I never entered any settings?

Thanks guys for the replies! Yeah 3 are a joke, pitty it has taken me a long time to figure that out.

I'm undecided as to whether install the above mentioned settings or just call head office tomorrow, and give them a piece of my mind and a harsh goodbye, then perhaps switch to Meteor or O2.

    I'm thinking the latter
