Dublin to Cork Friday 7pm train

I was just wondering whether i will need to reserve a seat for this train? I never have problems getting tickets on Saturday morning but i know Friday might be a different matter. thanks d_b

Sure what harm can it do! I know from past experience how busy the Cork-Dublin train can get.
