Traffic Lights near Quinn School

    Anyone else think theyre faulty? Firstly, im not sure why there is 2 sets coming from Fosters Avenue but they take up to 5 minutes to respond, they are really annoying.

    Also a hotspot for running over pedestrians, because they refuse to Stop Look and Listen!!!

    I guess the delay for traffic is just because there are a far greater number of pedestrians than cars using that area as an access route to student residences, Roebuck, the carpark, Mount Merrion, etc; and presumably the largest volume of users get priority.

    It's almost similar to those lights by the Stephen's Green Shopping Centre as you drive towards the RCSI/ Carpark.. they always seem to be green for pedestrians and red for traffic.

    The lights dont really have much revelance in the mornings when the roads are closed off, thier more for when the roads are open..

    Pain in the ass!
