This is probably a stupid question. But recently I heard that you can now get a boat in the liffey for €2 or something. It brought me to thinking why rivers etc. are not used for commuting, surely some rivers could provide commuting services. Is it just that there are no suitable boats (I know nothing about boats) or what?…
