Creative Vs Logitech Speakers...

    Hi all,

    Getting a new set of speakers and was wondering which would you guys recommend from these 2.

    Logitech X-230 2.1, 2 Satellites and Subwoofer, 32W RMS or Creative Gigaworks T20.

    Will be gaming with COD4 + Crysis next month. I like the creative cause they use up less space and are supposed to have good bass for 2.0 system. However I'm also thinking that having a subwoofer with the logitechs might sound better for gaming/movies/music.

    Never had either manufacturers speakers before so how do Logitech rate against Creative?

    If you saw my other post you'll know that the speakers will go alongside my new 22" Samsung tft so looks are important too ;)

    Any help appreciated!

    I have them - totally amazing sound quality...seriously

    and they dont take up too much space at all - put the subwoofer on the ground and the speakers on ur table - fit perfectly!

    seriously u wont get better speakers for the price!:eek:

    Well as far as speakers go, both companys are very impressive...I couldn't really
    say which I prefer. I have these from creative:

    and they're brilliant for the size of them.

    I've listened to the logitech ones that you mentioned above, and for a small speaker system, they do pack a great punch, well worth the money, so I would recommend them.

    I haven't ever used the gigaworks t20 so I can't exactly say what they'll be like.

    I have the T20's - they do the job well to my ears.

    Good build quality. And no sh1tty woofer needed.

    Hi chump, is the bass good enough for movies and games? Have heard that when having the microphone plugged into them that the sound is really low, is this true? Also hear that the blue power light is VERY distracting...

    I've had the X-230 system for a few months now. Fantastic speakers for the price. Deep bass, and a lovely clear sound. No snapping or popping. Highly recomended.

    Have a set of Creature II speakers, they arent as swank as some of the logitechs, but cant beat them for 80 quid, very impressed with the sound http://www.komplett.ie/k/ki.aspx?sku=306296
