First of all I managed to grow an oak from an acorn but ended up pitying it and putting it to the ground where it now grows happily as a small tree. ;) But recently tought about doing it…

hi,

I found some posts about bonsai but most of them year and more old.
Hope there are still some people able to answer my questions.
First of all I managed to grow an oak from an acorn but ended up pitying it and putting it to the ground where it now grows happily as a small tree.
But recently tought about doing it again and collected some acorns. They are now in the water and I'm waiting for them to start growing the green bit[quite honestly was never sure if it's the root or leaves that first appear ].
Is there any way to speed the process up and any tips for the first few weeks of it's life?
