bright star in the SE SKY this morning at 0645

    hi does anyone know what the star was in the sky this morning at 0645?
    it was very bright.in the SE sky.. or maybe it was a planet? anyone know what it was?

    That is the maginficent Venus and Saturn is currently sitting just above it too, with Mars a little further South and higher up.

    The brightest in the sky was venus which was southest, with saturn just above it, in the south at around that time mars would have been high above sirius

    Just woke up and looked outside and I had the same questions. Great to know what I'm looking at now :)
