Looking for a junk yard

    Hi All,
    Does anybody know if there is such a thing as a junk yard in Ireland where
    people can browse around looking for odds and ends (trying to build a gokart).
    I know of auto breakers yards etc... but is this as far as it goes in Ireland
    or can you get a place similar to what they have in "scrapheap challenge"?

    I live in Sligo by the way if there is something around here all the better.

    Are you looking for a place that would have old scrap metal for the frame, old lawnmowers for engines etc.
    Is that what your after?

    Thats exactly it, I think I might have the engine sorted(but not definate yet)
    but metal for frames,belts for transferring power to wheels, tires, cogs, cables
    etc... anything that could be salvaged that I might be able to use.
