bring it back. the first thing you should do tomorrow morning!
don't bother wit installation issues becuase once you have it running you will get grey hairs about their "broadband" service in general.

    seriously!

You need 3 to start proving the broadband that people are paying them for!!!!

All I can do is confirm what the people above me have posted. Get that modem back to the shop as soon as you can and get your money back! Most of us on the verrrryy long thread stickied at the top of this forum wish we were in a position to do that.

returned my 3 modem 7 days into the 14 day trial, not worth the hassle

Your nosebleed will be much worse if you try to use 3's service. Please return the modem and don't give this company your money until they sort out their issues. They lie, cheat and steal from their own customers and threaten them with damaging their credit rating and termination fee's if you try to leave the service. They also have illegally taken money out of peoples account after they have canceled their direct debit and terminated the contract due to unsatisfactory service (slower than dial up at times).

Short summary of the problems with this company, all confirmable if you have time to read 2,500+ posts in the stickied thread on the issue which has been going on for months, three are aware of and have up to this point, ignored all user complaints on the issue.
