Where to buy hard drive screws?

    I'm trying to get screws that I need to mount my harddrive. It came with no screws, but the ones that are already in the machine have 4mm of threading at the bottom with a further 8mm of unthreaded above.

    If anyone can help I'd appreciate it. It's frustraing not being able to use the thing just because of screws. I'm tempted to sellotape the bugger in!

    I've attached a picture of the one of these screws. I just need more.

    Maplins should have them - they have an entire section of just bits and pieces for building (as in, literally standoffs, screws, vibration kits, that sort of thing - not just literally the hardware).

    pcworld sell packs too. only a few € comes with various screws like mobo standoffs and all that.

    Maplin didn't have them. I had the guy check as well. I'll give PCWorld a shout tomorrow.

    I really should have tried PCWorld while I was out there!

    You'll need M3.5 screws AFAIK.
