Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Looking for something similar myself actually, even something that will let me create a recovery partition or the like.

    I know norton ghost did it but last time i used it was a few years ago and it was kinda bloated.

    Another free option is DriveImage XML - download at www.runtime.org/dixml.htm to restore you will need to create a DriveImage XML boot disc with BartPE (DriveImage XML won't win any speed records but it is free)

    Other alternatives;
    Paragon Drive Backup $50 http://www.drive-backup.com/
    Acronis True Image $50 http://www.acronis.com
    DriveClone $40 http://www.farstone.com/software/driveclone.htm

    I find Norton Ghost is excellent........I use Norton Ghost 2003, even has boot-up disks that will transfer from one drive to another in DOS mode.Makes whole process vey easy indeed..:D

    note:

    Norton Ghost 2003 has hard drive size limit, like Fdisk doesn't support hard drives over a certain size in the region 30 or 40GB

    The Ghost executable would fit on a bootable floppy; it contains everything you need to image a hard drive, I've used Ghost since about 2001 and I have never heard of a 40GB limit.
