Hi guys,

I've been considering buying one of these next year after selling my current (1st car), an 05 Peugeot 206 LX 1.1 with 35,000 KM on the clock.

I priced a Golf GT today with the spec I want and it works out at €24,600. I'm just wondering, to buy that with cash, what would be the likely discount I could expect? Or, would they be more likely to offer additional extras instead?

Thanks for any advice. I'm fairly out of my depth in all things motoring so any advice would be appreciated.
