Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

is there anyway of finding out the mobile number of someone who sent you a file through GPRS?

Over the last week I've had 2 weird gprs messages, one was "look behind you" and the other was an image which I won't explain what it was?

Talk to your network operator. They will have records of your sessions, but may be able to help you via a request in writing. Have you reported this to the Garda? If not, do it now and get a letter in writing to show you have reported it.

If this is as bad as you say, then talk to a solicitor and get a letter addressed to your network provider requesting they look into it.

All operators have a risk/fraud team that would have resources available to them that may help in locating the other person's number for the guards.

Whats a gprs message? Do you mean they sent you a picture message? If so their number shows up in your inbox just like any other message.

if you mean a picture message then go to message and press options or message menu and it will show the number in "message details"

no way of finding out then just set your bluetooth to hidden if you don't want people finding your handset when they get bored and do a search on the dart

It must have been someone in close proximity to you at the time because bluetooth has only has a range of about 10 metres.
