EPT Live 1k sat ticket (cant play) swap for stars or gjp transfer

I won the 1k ticket in Drogheda Poker CLub last week:cool:..

As it turns out i cant play in it:(.. This is a 8 person one table tourney for a 8k EPT ticket, made up from 7 winners of 100 freezout sub sats and a overall points leader..

The sub sat was an excellent structure so im sure the final will be as good if not better..

Any one interested PM me as i say in header ill take a stars or gjp transfer, preferably GJP..

Obviously there will be a discount ,, around 200e.. So this should be good value...

The final is on Next Thursday night ...

I think the money would be better spent putting yourself into the mid-buyin tourneys. It would also be a great chance to sponsor so other up-an-coming players into them.

wp nicky.... I alwsy feel that if I win a sat I should play the event... although a lot easier if you were given a ticket!!!

I know if I had the cash in my hand I would spend it on an 8k buy in..... but you actually have a chance to do well..

buy in nic, you do you can get a result - its prob on par with your largest buy in, butlook at it that if you hadnt got good cards you'd be sitting on your way home, minus 1k. Get in, play fearlessly and kick some ass

it really is a hard one if I was handed a ticket well I wouldn't sell and play but to be handed 8k is different. I've always been of the opinion that buying into one ept is -ev and that I would never buy into one unless I could buy into at least five the same year. I know the variance would be still huge but I always felt that if I played five of these in one year I would have a run at one at least.

Its not a choice of playing the other lower buy-in events comming up I'd be playing those anyway but rather do I put 8k down- a significant % of my roll- for one tournament. ATM I'm probably leaning towards being prudent and not buying in but don't be surprised to see me there on the day 4-betting scandies.

sell 20/30% of yourself nic. you've only invested 1k, no matter how you look at it and if you recoup 2,400 before it, then your freerolling, with expenses covered and still 1k profit

edit: expenses including cash game blow up/side event/ hookers when you win . . . whatever it may be
