    FATTYFATTY PROUDLY PRESENTS……

    OKTOBERFEST WEEKENDER –

    Bull And Castle
    Lord Edward St, D2. T: 4751122

    DJ’s From 10pm till 2 each night

Thursday 25th: El Tomo and Pablo (Fatty Fatty/Downtownsounds)
Friday 26th: G-mos and Nic Keane (Fatty Fatty)
Saturday 27th: Benway (52Funk/Downtownsounds) and Nic Keane (Fatty Fatty)

Fatty Fatty is the weekly Saturday night hoedown at Bull and Castle that promises funk/disco/house/techno and other late night psychedelic grooves for your dancing pleasure. Not quite a pub and not quite a club, Fatty Fatty is free and it's very, very funky.......

In an intimate, old style beer hall setting residents El Tomo and Pablo (52Funk/Downtownsounds) along with Nic Keane and Mossy play music from 10 till late, with scores of beers and licquers available to keep you well oiled and energetic!

In order to mark the legendary Oktoberfest at the old beer hall, Bank Holiday weekend sees us take over for 3 nights with our trusty residents and some of our favourite local dj's. Why not pop in and see it for yourself?

WHAT THE FUDGE IS FATTY FATTY?

Fatty Fatty was set up by Pablo and El Tomo and originally ran on Thursdays in the Thomas House, back in the venue's glory days from 2001 to 2003. After some serious roof raising led to the place being closed for renovations and structural amendments, Fatty Fatty was left homeless.... until now.

El Tomo and Pablo went on to become involved with Downtownsounds, whose monthly parties at Ri-Ra have brought scores of world class underground DJ's to our fair capital - from Maurice Fulton and The Idjut Boys to Metro Area through house legends like Farley 'Jackmaster' Funk and Black Science Orchestra/X-Press 2 man Ashley Beedle.

They also help to run 52FUNK, a DTS affiliated party that runs monthly in Kennedy's of Westland Row and has played host to the likes of Theo Parrish, Mr Fingers and Kompakt Records' Justus Konchke, as well as the cream of Dublin's Dj-ing scene.

The music policy at Fatty Fatty is very simple - music with funk and feeling from whatever genre - it it's got a groove to make you move, it goes in our bag...........

This policy has led to El Tomo and Pablo nabbing high profile support slots to the likes of George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars, Aim, Metro Area and DJ Cosmo, and has already led to some serious disco dancing in the new venue....

Other Fatty Fatty dates for your diary:

Oct 20th: Pablo and El Tomo (Fatty Fatty)

Pablo makes his return to the Fatty Fatty decks after a summer away in Mancunia, with his old mate El Tomo backing him up. Should be epic

Nov 3rd – Mark Allton (Hospital), Louche (52Funk/Downtownsounds) + Nic Keane (Fatty Fatty)

Two of our very favourite local DJ's bring the heat with Nic Keane stretching out in the early slot as only he can.

Nov 17th: Official Relaunch Party with Daniel Wang (Balihu/Environ Records)

Balihu Records head honcho and all-round nu-disco genius Daniel Wang will be flying in from Berlin tonight to air his awesome disco, funk and electro collection to the Fatty Fatty faithful.......

Nov 24th: Andy Doyle + Barry Donovan (Lunar Disko) + Pablo (Fatty Fatty/Downtownsounds/52Funk)

Tune for tune, mix for mix, guest for guest, these boys possibly run the best clubnight in the country. They should tear the place a new one.

BEER GUT CHIC FOR AUTUMN 2007 --- BELIEVE
