Painfully slow D/L speeds!!!!

    Have the 6mb connection with NTL and it just won't download very fast at all!!!!

    Can anyone recommend anything to speed it up? I'm downloading something right now on BITLORD and it's at 3KB/s:mad: I did the whole port forwarding thing and at the time speeds increased to up to 300KB/s but that has happened rarely since.

    It's really beginning to piss me off!!! Help please:(

    have u tried a real download?
    like example this
    tell us what speed this downloads at

    maybe try this at the same time

    first one seems to fluctuate between 140-180KB/s, but drops down to 90KB/s briefly.

    Im on 3mb NTL
    uTorrent running @ 6 kB/s
    above downloads running @ 100-120kB/s
