Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

18/10 Impact Thoughts

Well I for one thought this weeks Impact was very enjoyable overall.

I thought the opening segment was good, couldn't believe how over Nash was.

I found Team 3D declaring war on the X Division a tad unoriginal, but it was effective in setting them up for a feud with the fabulous MCMG.

I thought Angle's backstage antics were amusing, especially his "Don't forget the porn line!" line.

Kaz vs. Hoyt was entertaining. I think Kaz could have a good gimmick in the making; first seducing Ms. Brooks and here doing the same to Hemme (well, sort of).

Parade of Champions was odd, but effective in its way, giving Kim, Lethal and Styles and Tomko (some) air-time, while also setting up the following week's main-event, as well as Joe/Cage later on the show.

Rhino looked like a douche in his segment with Harris. The old Rhino would have Gored Harris throught the wall for speaking to him like that. Rhino looked like his feelings were hurt or something. At least Harris showed some personality.

Junior Fatu's promo was embaressing. Rick Roode? How did they let this air!?!

The main event was the best wrestling match on TV this week. Some have questioned the finish, but I disagree. Joe looked dominant before falling due to outside interference. He looked strong in defeat. It also set up Roode/Joe, a feud I'm personally interested in.

By far the best 2 hour Impact yet

I watched this week's episode, the first two hour Impact I've seen. I hated it. It just frustrates me so much. I find it impossible to follow the show. It's just their one hour show made longer. I read this open letter to Dixie Carter earlier and it sums up everything better than I could: http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=21063

I find that astonishing. To me, it was wretched. Typical bullsh*t finishes along with some really lousy segments and some baffling booking.

Now Team 3D are declaring war on the X Division. Remember when Kevin Nash did this? Now they're just rehashing old angles with inferior names. That'll win ratings!

Why do they want to declare war anyway on the one aspect of their product that people have enjoyed over WWE? Idiots.

Agreed. Remember when having a two hour show was hailed as the solution to all their problems? Lately I've heard a lot of people talking about TNA going live. This seems to be the new solution to all their problems!

Here's the REAL solution to TNA's problems - cut out the crap and give people a wrestling show. It's not going to happen as long as Vince "Fans don't want to watch wrestling" Russo is involved.

Isn't it interesting how Impact - which focuses primarily on angles and nonsense - gets panned, and yet their PPVs - which focus primarily on letting their talent show what they can do - tend to get praised? Doesn't take a genius to work out what needs to be done.

Was this the one where Disco Inferno made his return? I saw it on Spike but wasn't sure how old it was. :D

Overall i think that their two hours shows are enjoyable.Ive watched the first two and they were quite good. The only thing is that it seems as though they are trying to put alot into each show...possibly too much and it can get hard to follow

It seems obvious to me that they are tryin to keep the fast paced feel to the show but they are intent on having too much talent for the TV time they have.
It works for alot of people. The show dosnt feel stale which is the main reason I stopped watching WWE. That being said its not perfect by any means but they are putting on some quality matchs its just that the segments between them are lacking
