came accross a free bet with Bruce Betting to promote their new greyhound markets or something..
All you have to do is open an account and they will give you a free 20 euro bet without having to stake any money...cool or what!! 1800 504948.

When opening the account you have to give them the code "Greyhounds" to claim your free 20 euro bet.

    Think this ends tomorrow

Cheers. I've opened an account and got the €20 but haven't a clue how it works. There's no way of logging into their website. Do I have to phone them every time I want to know stuff like my balance, odds on something, etc?

the hubby has turned his head away from the tv ( ohh the strain ) to tell me that no bookie gives the stake back on a freebie...his words ..!!

In general they don't, like the free PP bets coupons in the paper for example,
But to say "no bookie" or "never" is wrong, (sorry claremoya's hubbie, but that means you're wrong)
Its possible to get it back the odd time, Paddy power recently gave me €10 to try out the new casino games section, I clinked the link, tried a casino game (in play money mode) and left with +€10 in the account. So if Bruce are in a good mood, it might be free credit instead of a free (no return stake) bet

    Hackett's

They are not suppose to but many of them behind the counter don't realise it's a free bet and end up giving the stake back!

If it's an electronic settling system there's not a chance of getting the free bet back and when the shop are working manual settling, mistakes can be made!
