    Depends if he's Catholic or not.
    Catholics are ok with it as long as yer not doing it to offend God or whatever. They want you to think long and hard about it and have no official line on it. That bit in the bible was put in to distinguish the Israelites from the desert pagans.
    There's a lot in Leviticus which we're told not to and everyone does anyway.


    OTher religions, I've no idea.

    thanks i found these on google search the arm tattoo is not good as i thought the faces are not well done thanks

    Technically does that not state that the use of any form of make-up is a sin too? Which is quite possible considering the fallen angels were supposed to have taught women of magic and make-up (what a combo! lol) and it's not entirely clear that their procreating with the women was the only aspect of their actions that was considered sinful.
    As such I think you might want to be careful referencing such as the girls on boards.ie can be quite protective of their cosmetics if you check out:

    But coming onto the tattoos and piercings forums to make a quote that decries the act of getting tattoos and piercings, in a thread where someone's trying to find a design, was a bit... unwise you have to admit.:rolleyes:
    Most of us are aware of how many religions feel about the act of getting tattoos but then if you listened to everything those religions spout out you'd believe you're damned anyway.

    Don't forget to hassle those other hyprocrites who are Christians yet dare to shave, cut their hair, work on a Sunday or eat cheeseburgers. Which also happen to be forbidden by Leviticus.
