Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Nintendo Wii Remote and Nunchuck controller for $66.80 (approx €47) from dealexreme.com

    http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.3883

They seem like the genuine articles, but with Japanese packaging. Seeing as the remote (or <shudder> Wiimote if you prefer) costs €46.49 and the Nunchuck costs €23.49 from Play.com, I'd consider this a bargain.

    There's also a component cable for €4.

Just to let you know I have received the Wii Remote, Nunchuck and component cable yesterday. The controllers are the genuine article (albeit with Japanese packaging and instructions) and even come with Club Nintendo points. I will try and register them, but I doubt that Club Nintendo Europe would accept Japanese points.

Haven't tested the component cable yet.

    Hi all,
Was thinking of getting a Wii console and these guys seem to be doing pretty good deals. Are there problems though using a Japanese console to play European games? Don't want to be left with a €220 lemon!

I bought a lot of gadgets last night.

Approx 3 weeks for delivery of the Wii stuff. However, I'm still getting other gadgets I ordered before that in twos and threes. Seems they send out whatever they have in stock.

@macinalli: The Wii power adaptor wouldn't be a problem, you could get one here, but as machiavellianme said, no European games for you:(

Thanks for the info guys. Best bet then seems to be buy a console in Ireland and use the likes of dealextreme for the extras. Cheers!
