Cycling routes round galway city

Hi i just bought a bike there with the intent of taking a spin round the city in the evennings for fittness. Does anyone know any good routes round the city, i'd prefere to stay off one narrow streets and main roads, I'd pref cycle lanes and or big paths ? any ideas ?
