    Bought a spotting scope in either Lidl or Aldi before and well, it's still in it's pouch upstairs... Optics were OK up to 20x but 40 and 60 were no good. You get what you pay for.

    .... but if you want something you can toss in the boot and dont have to mind, its ideal.

    For the money there grand, have one of the scopes as well does the job in good conditions but when its dark at all the higher zoom is too dark.

    from aldi? you might have to "place it gently" in the boot so the lense doesnt fall out or something :D

    e bay isn't too bad for a spotting scope, mate of mine got one for about 60 quid

    Don't be misled by the cheap price, got those bino's last time Aldi had them and the are very very good.

    I have an eBay and the Aldi spotting scope. Both are great for the money.
