NTL broadband and Vista

hi there, Can you please help i want to connect my laptop (os windows vista)through a wireless router to a ntl cable modem that is already connected to a desktop pc , info says laptop connected to router but router not connected to internet. can you please help thanks:rolleyes:::rolleyes:

You may have to reset the router a few times. Make sure that both the pc and laptop are turned off, reset the router ,leaving it powered down for a good amount of time and once you plug it back in leave it going for a good while before you turn your pc and laptop back on.
