Need mics, where to buy?

Ok, i play a sport like paintball called airsoft(check sports for more). Airsoft is much more tactical and we use comms even if they are open frequencies(codes:D). So we have a pair of €45 euro challenge activate and we're probably getting another pair soon. Thing is there are no specs for the headsets. Got two throat mics from ebey, no luck. They dont work with the radios, which BTW are brilliant for the price and suit our need perfectly.

Soo, what i need is a shop in dublin that i can take them into and find out which ones will work and test them before i buy. Without headset they are useless as if your hiding in a bush and somebody transmits everyone within 5m will know exactly where you are:eek:

    So any suggestions for shops?

    Thanks
    Lethal.

    Maplin has various adaptors.
Also there is a Radio shop in city south side that does Amateur Gear. Forget the name though.

Someone in South Dublin Radio Club may be able to cheaply rewire the headsets you have.

Well, they're throat mics which i later found arent nearly as good as booms so not sure if i wanna use em.

Will maplin let you test them first?
