Running XP Home. Screen's resolution stuck quite low and the number of colours very diminished. I've tried to change these setting, but to no avail. Any suggestions?

Have you the correct graphic card drivers installed?

Yip, most likely to be a driver problem.

When did the problem start occurring?

Just last night, after over a year without a problem.

    Reboot
    Press F8
Into safe mode and do a system restore to when it was working last.
