    Hi Folks,
There's somebody's posts I'd like to ignore, but I can't find that feature.
    Has it been removed?
    If so, why?

    Cheers.

Go to "view public profile" of the user in question and click "add to your ignore list".

Go to a user's profile and click add Whoever to your ignore list.

Goto the User CP, and under the Miscellaneous to the left hand side, click Buddy / Ignore Lists and add someone.

BTW, who's annoying you, out of interest?

Right, so if/when you post in said mods forum/fora you won't notice any warnings that may be given.

Handy way to get banned tbh.

    [edit]
Wouldn't the ignore user function be in the same place on vbulletin site you run Oriel?

Seems like attention whoring thqh. :)

Oh thats a interesting point, maybe thats why so many users on boards get banned, they have all mods on ignore and ignore there warnings :p

    Certainly helps explain alot....

Unless he is trying to highlight a problem and this is the way he does it

A problem with the vBulletin software or a user he doesn't agree with?
Not a very clear way of doing either imho

The user as it appears he has his own site vBulletin site so (I would think) he knows what features it has.

Why the hell would I be looking for attention?
I don't use the ignore function on my site. I would have had the same query if I wanted to ignore somebody there. I just seem to recall there being a link from the main message page. I may be wrong.
The person happens to be a mod, I want to ignore them on other parts of the site, not necessarily on the forum that they mod.

My issue was solved in the second post.
Mod, could you lock this please?

As I have said, I have not used the feature there. I am aware of the features of vbulletin, I just need reminding of where I access it from.

    I don't think that's possible.

You can still still see where ignored users have posted, you just don't see the text of the post by default. If you see a post by a mod in their forum, you can just click on the "View" link next to their name to view the post.

The danger though is that you don't get PMs from people who are on your ignore list.

Exactly. Once on said forum I can listen to their warnings, should I need to.
