Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    But at European and not Irish rip off prices, any advice here or do I follow the hoards to Germany or the UK?

    Depends on what you're looking for and how much you're willing to spend...

    I've found that the numbers on the reg plate thingy also seems to affect motorhomes somewhat. In other words, older motorhomes in Ireland don't really seem to fetch the sometimes silly prices they're advertised for, while their prices in Germany remain relatively stable.

    If you keep your eyes and ears open, you might be able to pick up something older in Ireland that isn't miles away from German prices, especially when taking all the additional costs for export into consideration.

    Following the ads on carzone, there are some older motorhomes at dealers advertised for silly money ...but they're still sitting there.
    Every now and then something appears from a private seller at a near enough German cost+export price and these ads usually last only a few days before the yoke is sold.
