Excellent price.... I have the 370 so recommend the Nuvi range for sure. Just applied for my free :) map upgrade to city navigator north America 2008. Looking forward to the European ones too.

Great price - but take note that they are refurbs - no particular harm in that though!

This is what it works out at with shipping
    GPS €127.23
    Postage & Packing 16.95
    VAT 21% 30.28
    Total €174.46

It says that it plays mp3's, is this just through it's own speakers or can it play over Fm like some other GPS's do ??

    Imposter! :D

You'd need the higher-end GPS receivers which are equipped with FM transmitters, like the Garmin 760 or 770, to play music through your radio, via FM.

Here's a feature comparison page. The 300 uses an internal speaker.

I presume this has Ireland maps? It doesn't explictly say it on that site.

Have just purchased a nuvi 250w after much web browsing. I reckon komplett.ie is worth a look at the moment for anyone interested in ire/uk/eur garmins ... they have the nuvi250w for eur242 delivered with the nuvi250 for just over eur200 delivered. Should be a good no-frills option for anyone searching for an in-car gps for europe.

Does anyone know if it's possible to hack a Nuvi 300 to clone a 350 so that you get street names spoken at turning points?

    Cheers D-M
