Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Signed Man Utd Shirt Raffle for Charity

Hi all, a United supporter I know from elsewhere has been given a signed United shirt, by Manchester United, to use raise money for charity. They have chosen a raffle as their means of raising funds via the jersey.
OK guys and gals, I now have raffle tickets for the signed United shirt. Just a reminder that I'm raising money for a World Vision development project in a slum area of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I'm visiting the project for two weeks in November to see for myself the conditions in which the community lives and the difference that the project is making to people both in terms of their current lives and their future prospects.

The shirt is signed by the following members of the first team squad - Van der Sar, J O'Shea, D Fletcher, O Hargreaves, W Rooney, Nani, N Vidic, C Ronaldo, O-G Solskjaer, M Carrick. Two signatures I'm a bit unsure of but think they're R Giggs and P Scholes.

Tickets are £1 and can be purchased directly from me or through Paypal - ethiopia@binsey.org.uk (please make sure you provide contact details when buying this way). I'll either send out the tickets or email the numbers whichever people prefer. I can also send books of tickets to anyone who thinks they could sell them among friends, family or workmates. Second prize is £25 of M&S vouchers, third prize is a £10 book token. The draw will take place on 20th December.

    Many thanks for your support.

I assure you this is not a scam, and is in aid of charity. However, if you are not based in England, they would prefer not to have to post the tickets, as that would further reduce the money they actually get for the tickets - if you are happy with email allocated ticket numbers fire ahead. Also, i don't know how usefull the runners-up prizes would be to us Irish...

The person in question is not a member of this site, but if you have any questions, you can PM me and I will pass the questions on.

    Please no flaming.

    Cheers.
