After MUDD'S visit last month, we welcome aboard the latest RONG-ster to bewitch us with his ace nu-disco productions. This should be a disco detonation of the highest order!

When we got the call from DEAF regarding this year's Asian themed festival, this man was the first thing on our minds. The New York based producer has got chins wagging amongst the nu-disco cognoscenti with his dancefloor-shattering productions for the ultra-hip label, with 'New York Story' in particular hitting the spot with the stellar likes of Ashley Beedle, DJ Harvey and Prins Thomas.

His recent 'Same Changes' EP has been getting some serious plays round about DTS Towers so we thought it was best that we shared this man's talents with the wider world....

We'll also be taking over The Globe on the night, with balaeric nuggets and disco swingers on the menu from DTS residents and Lovefingers, the man behind one of San Francisco's very best disco and allsorts nights, Black Disco. The night has recently played host to DTS favourites like Rub'n'Tug and Prins Thomas, and we're thinking this is going to be a bit of a corker!!

Rong Music was formed in 2003 by San Fran DJ Ben Cook and New Yorker DJ Spun. Having already released material by nu-disco royalty like Prins Thomas, Daniel Wang and Rub'n'Tug, their recent label retrospective 'This Is Rong Music' has been garnering acclaim from all angles. We think the world is about to wake up to the fact that when it's RONG, it's oh so right…..
