Hi would anybody happen to know how I can connect my Laptop Dell inspiron 6400 to my tv Philips 42" plasma. My tv does not have a vga connection is there another way. thanks

You can use an S-video to scart cable. Available in most computer stores. Definitely get one in maplin or peats.
