    I was playing Madden 07 a few nights back and this happened.

    Inside 2 minute warning and my opponent is 4th and 15.
    Fumble occurs, offense recovers fumble without gaining the 15 yards
    The ref in the booth challenges the fumble (inside 2 minutes) and the play on the filed is overturned by the ref and I get the ball back on downs.

    But what would have if the fumble was not chanllenged and overturned.

    Would it have been 1st and 10 to my opponent or would I have got the ball back because the opponent never made the 15 yards on 4th down ?

    You would have got the ball back either way. Bit of a pointless challenge.
