NTL slow in Ballybrit/Galway area?

    Hi all,

    Anyone else in Ballybrit/Galway on here noticing very patchy service since last Tuesday on NTL broadband? I'm on 3meg/300k. Was ok Wednesday for most of business hours, but Tuesday and today have been a nightmare. Modem is not indicating any issues, and I can't call support because my phoneline is through... Blueface :rolleyes:
    Generally getting timeouts on web browsing, FTP is awful, SMTP hovers between usable and timing out (using a few different SMTP servers which I have authentication on).

    I see NTL are having issues in Lucan, apols if starting new thread for separate area not ideal, please merge if deemed more correct.
