Optimal Surge Protection and Clean Power

Guys, has anyone ever used something like this before?

I've read in another forum that when an NTL Digital box is connected to this -and then connected to the TV - the 'Clean Power' improves the picture on LCD's.

If anyone has experience with this, please let me know.

That , in conjunction with most of monsters claims for their products , is utter rubbish.
For the record monster are also selling "speed rated" HDMI cables , more utter rubbish.

These devices are very useful in protecting your equipment from power surges, they will save the likes of broadband modems and routers in the case of a power cut or electrical storm , ( some will blow power supplys in the case of electrical storms , thats what these devices will stop ).

They will in no way improve the picture on any TV or improve the sound on any audio device.

All electronic equipment will condition the power in its own internal power supply and these surge protecting devices have no effect on that besides preventing surges , power surges will not get by any decent piece of equipments power supply.
A surge may damage the power supply , but will get no further up the chain , so have no affect on output signals.
