I think some bigger girls can be gorgeous like Martin Mc Cutcheon or Jennifer Lopez, I even like Britneys figure now. I was a size 14 and I didn't like it because I carried the extra weight on my torso and not my hips and thighs. So I changed the way I eat and I got a decent gym programme and I'm down to a 12 now. I'm 5 9' and although I'm still working on that flat tummy I'm alot happier at this size My point is that it depends where the curves are. Someone who carries weight on their hips will look alot better as a size 16 than someone with it around their midriff as a size 14. Its that whole hourglass thing.

As for people who complain about their weight and do nothing about it - I have no time for girls like that. If your not happy then change. I work my ass off in the gym, I hate girls who think that fad diets and ten mins on the treadmill is going to solve their weight issues. Frankly its insulting!

Oh i will!! but in all seriousness.. ladies are more inclined to like a man who they can hold onto and cuddle as opposed to one that wears a jean size smaller than she does!! :D

Ah yes... the "if you can fit in my pants you're not getting in my pants" rule... curse my slender waist! ;)

Sums it well enough up for me. True obesity = bad.

Why are people so hung up on this black and white battle of which is more attractive skinny or fat, big or small. The truth is neither is the two conditions are as bad as each other because they are both a bad condition for your body to be in. Healthy is attractive, but people never think to have a thread titled "Unhealthy girls y/n?". Women reck my head the way the go on about weight I don't know who perpetuated the whole less weight = more attractive stupidity into their pretty little heads but it has to stop.

    ARRRRGGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad:

PS Men are just as bad.

    rant over.

Another thing that I find funny that men say what size they want they actually prefer when most of them haven't a clue how the measurements all work. For instance I can wear a size 12/14 in jeans but a 10 in a dress so does that mean im a 10 or a 14? Its all to with my heightreally. I can say im a 10 and not really be lying. ;)

I could always carry my weight thought because my waist is so small and breasts are so big. But Im still happier being able to wear almost anything in a clothes shop.

@Donegal Lass I know what you mean, I rarely get asked out properly and its not that men don't find me attractive. I actually got more dates when I was fatter.

Well, when I go out I do try ACTUALLY & two long relationships came from doing it so not too bad ! You post on here with confidence, why dont you show that same side in real life & make the first move unlike your counterparts!! I wouldn't judge someone because they have only been on one date, I wouldn't say you are ''ugly'' because you wouldn't of mentioned that for sure if you were. I look like Marlon Brando before he died

thats what you get for being the majority :D:D

i remember working my arse off just to get a dance off a girl. its nice now the situations reversed, and i have to admit being a bit cruel here, but its nice to see them squirm for a change . you think blokes are bad? try a girl thats keen but doesnt want to look like a slut. its hilarious! (though appreciated)

My biggest turn off is skinny women. If they can't help it - fine obviously, but those who strive for a size 8 or 6 or whatever - no thanks. Ribs showing, thighs that are the same width as their calves - ugh.

Have always preferred "natural" women who actually have an arse/hips/belly.

try a trip to cork then. the ratio between blokes and womens been skewed there since the mid 90's. used to go down every year with the lads. its the weirdest thing being a minority in a club and getting the preferential treatement usually reserved for girls. i was gobsmaked when i met a girl in the pub who started chatting me up and arranged to meet her in the club only to find out SHE wasnt let in!

    mad.

still pleantly more to choose from in the club :D

I like a bit of both tbh, my last g/f was a bit on the "beefy dish" scale, I kinda liked it tbh, my current g/f is pretty thin, prob round an 8 (Im guessing, she's fairly petite) she could do with a bit of feeding tbh!

A girl carrying around some weight is fine, something to hold on to.Curves=hot but it usually depends on the girl
Most who are morbidly obese are not. THey are putting their health at risk

There is a large amount of Political Correctness saying "big is beautiful" etc, but I think a lot of people need to get their butts into gear and hit the gym. I'm naturally skinny but taking up boxing and hitting the gym did wonders for me. There is nothing beautiful about high blood pressure and heart disease which often occurs in obese people/

    Slim girls-hot.
    Anorexic girls-not.

All of my previous girlfriends have been very different from one another as the only physical charecterstic I find important is the face, especially eyes. THe majority of my girlfriends were were slim, but a fair few were curvy, what was far more important was personality and face. Fat people can still have very attractive faces but overweight in other areas.

There is a nice market for chubby women. I was bumming around Europe and we arrived in Germany, one of the guys I was with saw a sex shop underneath a cafe (as in it was a two story building with a cafe on the top floor and a sex shop on the ground floor) for the record, it looked so odd. Do you know on the edges of towns where you have shopping districts? Somewhere with a Tesco, Dunnes and Argos? It was that kind of shopping district but with a sex shop, and not some seedy little redlight show but a clean place with big windows that looked like the McDonalds next to it.
    Those Germans eh?

Anyway, myself and one other guy were hungry and looking for somewhere to eat, but the first guy REALLY wanted to see the sex shop so we went in. I was pretty sickened to be honest. I'm a guy and all that but some of the stuff in the shop was disturbing but there was a whole wall dedicated to fatty porn: dolls, videos etc. I made my way to the exit and saw a mobidly obese woman-honestly the most obest Ive ever seen with her incredibly skinny boyfriend buying dildos. It was bloody odd. He was a head taller than her and about as heavy as her right ass-cheek. They were buying dildos.
    The cheeky scamps

I seem to alternate between slim and cuddly women. I rarely go for skinny or obese. Looking back my best memories are of cuddly women.

Well fat people are allowed to have sex too. Most can't actually breed so its no harm.

    Only joking.;)

Nah, I'm just pointing out some people are atttraced to obese people, or else it doesn't bother them RE their weight. GIven that they were in a shop specialising in chubby porn, I'd say he was the former.

I made the first move once and was rejected. Not by Donegal_lass thanks for taking me up on the offer if your ever down in Limerick let me know.

On the subject of people not liking the gym or exercising, you just have to find something you enjoy. I stopped liking football when I was around six and was wonderously unsporty for most of my teenage years except for a genetic trait of being a decent runner without having to practice, I then took up boxing which I enjoy hugely. I personally think nearly everyone has a sport they'd enjoy if they just find it.

As for women having pressure on them, us guys have it too. I have a pretty good stomach (ladies love it) but have skinny arms. If it was the other way round I could just wear loose sleeveless shirts, but I'm happy enough with what I have. I read in a Sunday paper that a guy's abs have become the equivalent of women boobs.

    Gah, Lux23 scarred me.

There's a woman in my archaeology class who is morbidly obese. She brings her laptop into the class and her desktop backround is an incredibly muscled and handsome man, the backround changes but it;s always a similarly well sculpted muscle-man

To be honest, I could never let myself get any larger than a 6. Having said that, I'm short- 5 foot 2.

I say each to their own, at the end of the day. I'm much prefer to look at a pretty fat person than an ugly skinny person and I think fat people are far nicer to talk to than skinny people.

 Are you referring maybe to the 'jolly fat person' syndrome?

It often makes me cringe as I get the impression that they feel they have to be jolly/happy go lucky to show people how little they care about the fact that they are so overweight.

It's well known that blokes who prefer skinny women are closet homosexuals who like to fantasise about shagging 15 year old boys.

"Big" in its true sense does exist, and can be very sexy. "Curvy", in its true sense, is very, very sexy.

Unfortunately though both terms are misused all too often by fat people trying to justify lack of effort in approving their appearance and by a screwed-up society trying to assert that obese is a natural body shape.

BMI is stupid because it doesn't take into account what makes up the weight. Muscle or Fat or ****loads of hair?

I lol @ BMI, cos if you're over 6 foot or so (like me) it calculates you as obese. My BMI is 29.1, and I've barely a spare tyre!

    =-=

Don't like "big" girls. "Big" being taking up two chairs on the train.

Also don't like stick insects, either. If I want to play a xylophone, I'll get one in the pound shop.

    Something inbetween is cool, though.
