Here's a few of pics of Jake who died 7 weeks ago, we are really missing him, especially tough this week with alot of gardening and painting being done which he loved 'helping' with :) We donated all his doggie posessions (except a few things we wanted to keep) to our local Dog Rescue that he supported (we walked dogs for them). Thinking of you Jakey xxx

A pic of the most amazingly special dog that I have ever known. He died suddenly one evening in Sept 2008 at the age of 5. I *still* miss him.
    Tucker.jpg

But, here are pics of our two new pups taken on a hike today. We would've taken the Dane too but (1) the three of them would hardly fit in the back of our Skoda  and (2) she hates car rides & is too big to pick up to put into the boot of the car :D

anyway, they're all other peoples personal designs so i would imagine they have their own reasoning for it ;)

:( He looks just like my cocker spaniel did when she was younger. She died recently at the age of 14. Hope you are all okay!

He is a labrador/poodle cross (I refuse to say labradoodle...it's ridiculous!)

It really is ridiculous isn't it!>? Plus you get varying reactions I find sometimes too! Freddy is a shaggy one, rather than a really curly one like Sonnie so people tell me he just looks like a strange lab because he doesn't have the usual wider face! All poodled out! :)

Enjoy every second - if there's any personality trait that runs in the cross - he'll be brilliant craic! :)

thanks to all the peeps on here who gave me some great 'pre-rescue-cat advice'. today this wee fella stole my heart... meet Sheldon...

    7173288154_d952b80c48_c.jpg

he's only been here for 6 hours and already he's learned where his litter tray and his scratchpost is, had his dinner, played, chased a jingly mouse round the kitchen, sniffed the entire house, and most importantly - found his bed! he's got a wee sore on his side from where he was attacked by other cats but it's healing nicely and in a few weeks he'll be going to the vet for his snip-snip ;) i love this cat. i LOVE this cat. :o

I was looking through old pictures and I can't believe how small my 2 were when we first got them! We got them from a farm where they had about 3 litters and 9 cats still pregnant  so the lady grabbed the 1st 2 she could, I reckon Cream must only have been about 3 weeks, Peach about 4-5 weeks! So tiny, yet now they are so huge :D

    Their very first picture :)

Cream was barely bigger than my shoe!
