Any chance you'd do something to destress the cat or do you enjoy a bit of cat baiting??????

Rocky has made a new bestie! Has been carrying this meerkat toy around all weekend and cuddled up with it to go to sleep last night. Awww :D

The cat is a regular visitor.

I'd say the cat knows exactly what it is doing ... Teasing the dog

Cats do this to dogs all the time, especially if they are a local cat, they know exactly what the dog is capable of.

Cats are not cognitively sophisticated enough to tease dogs.

@tanyac I love Yorkies. I have a part timer, and he runs to my door everytime he is out. One day I will not give him back.

I would say many cat and dog owners will disagree with you on that one, its quite a common thing to observe.

How do you test every cats cognitive ability to tease ?

Eh, my Bengal teases the neighbours dog every day. And he damn well knows he's teasing, smug look on his face as he lets the dog go mental at his tail hanging down the wall just out of reach:D

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,689 ✭✭✭Karl Stein

Honestly lads, if you think cats purposefully decide to tease dogs you're watching too many cartoons.

No more posts on cats teasing dogs please or infractions will be handed out.

Now lets get back on topic.

I would be in my element in he middle of all those.
Especially that spaniel at the back, he looks so sad!

Our 2 during a thunderstorm recently. Normally they wouldn't be so friendly to each other. Looks like it's not just dogs that hate thunder:pac:

And Kovu in my chair, he really is huge. And he does have a tail, he's just lying on it!

Django, a rescue Chihuahua/miniature Jack Russell cross, who we collected from his fantastic foster parents yesterday. He's still very nervous as he was almost certainly mis-treated before being rescued, but an absolute cutie and gets on like a house on fire with the mad pug.
A beautiful little dog, who absolutely deserves the life we will give him. :)

You can't link to a folder on your own hard disk. You'll need a proper image host and then check point 10 on here:

Dolly gained her 'CH' title at the IPBTA championship last Sunday. She placed first in the female Staffords and had a great win in the all breeds A-frame, beating other staffs, pit bulls and american bulldogs.

Here's just a small selection of some of the amazing animals that were shown (and a few of Dolly of course!)
